June 10, 2006

I just got home from a splendid tea party at the Berkeley Rose Garden. Miss Lizzie (Lizziegirl) gave my guardian, Miss Victoria, a ride to the East Bay. After surviving the awful traffic, we finally arrived, but like the white rabbit, we were late for our own tea party. The tea party had an Alice in Wonderland theme. I have read the book before. It is still one of my favorites, but A Little Princess is still my all time favorite.

I made new friends today. Miss Diana brought May. May is much younger than I am. She thinks of me as a big sister. May wanted to go around the garden with me. We sat by the creek and talked. May is such a sweet little girl. Apparently, a wedding was going to take place. Everyone had to vacate the garden. I met some other dolls such as Miss Astro's many boys. I absolutely cannot keep track of their names!

The tea party was a fine and dandy one. It was so nice to see more people like me. I do not get to see many like me too often, but I still love my American friends, Chloe and Laura. Maybe I should bring Chloe to a gathering. Her tea party dress she got in New York would make her fit in!

I absolutely cannot wait until the next tea party! Thank you Miss Kelly for hosting the event.

I'm on my way!
