Sarah Goldberg (aka Summoner Lenne) lives far out in the Wilderness on the fringes of LA county, surrounded by forest and snow. She's had a bear on her front porch. Her first con was Anime Expo 2004 but she did not really start attending cons for multiple days until Fanime 2006. Anime LA 4 was the first con where she volunteered for the convention, and after an amusing incident involving losing her shoes and the masquerade she was inducted into the staff. She's helped out Chaz, the famous ALA Bear (not to be confused with the one that ended up on her porch) on ALA's publicity tours at many cons as his personal minion, and worked her butt off at ALA5 to make sure he ate and drank, and with various things around the con. She helped kick out a pervert, you know! Sarah first got into cosplay at her first AX, where she wore a Ghetto Thrift Store version of Robin Sena from "Witch Hunter Robin" and was glomped by many fans for being the twelve year old cosplayer she was. These days she's rather on the lazy side of cosplay, the "Ohh, can I borrow that please?" bit, but enjoys wearing any costumes she can borrow or badly make. In the parts of her life NOT dedicated to cons (which aren't many) Sarah goes to school an hour from where she lives where she's the president of her school's (dying, but let's ignore that) anime club, plays piano, is the worst on the Swim team three years running, and loves her dentist.
Tom began attending conventions since Fanime 2001 and enjoys each new convention. He's volunteered to work for Fanime and Anime Expo to better understand the workings of the convention before joining Victoria and co-founding Traveling Valentine. He works with Victoria in convention tasks relating to Ball-Jointed Dolls. Usually hiding his face behind a video camera, Tom has a "shoot first, ask questions later" approach to filming the countless antics of the convention attendee, convention event, and convention guest. The footage that he and Victoria gather is used to produce the various convention videos. While proofreading, Tom contributes his dry humor to con reports based on observations and opinions. Recently, Tom has been publishing movie reviews and costume tutorials on Associated Content. He is also known as the "Asian House" in the convention circuit. Tom has a B. A. in Business Administration from San Francisco State University. He is currently pursuing a technical writing certificate at DeAnza Community College. |
