We had an early start on day two because Victoria had a panel at 10AM. I got into my Makoto Miki (The World Ends With You) cosplay, but Victoria dressed in regular clothes for her Hobbies, College, and Career panel. The panel was a last minute addition to the schedule which limited the attendance. However, there were plenty of questions and the panel went smoothly. Even after the panel ended Victoria was still talking with members of the audience about how anime fandom can help getting students into college and art schools.

Since Victoria was not in cosplay she decided to go to Artist Alley in order to get a commission of her as an anime girl. As she went from booth to booth trying to find a suitable artist. Deb and I went around looking for The World Ends With You pins. I needed a black skull pin for my Makoto cosplay and Deb had lost her player pin a short time ago. Victoria found an artist and set up her commission, Deb found a nice player pin, but sadly I could not find a black skull pin. Victoria had found an artist she liked to do her portrait. The artist told us the commission would take about an hour to be ready so we decided to get back to the hotel for Victoria to change into cosplay.

Victoria changed into her Princess K (The World Ends With You) cosplay and the three of us went to lunch at Johnny Rocket’s. Last year this was one of the highlights of the convention, however, this year lunch was plagued by horrible service and an incompetent waiter. We had hoped for a nice relaxing lunch so we could prepare for the remainder of the day, but instead lunch caused us stress. We would not return to Johnny Rocket’s for the remainder of the convention and it is likely we will not go there next year either.

When lunch was over we realized we had missed the World Ends With You gathering and we just decided to take some pictures around the area. The urban setting worked out really well.

We got back to the hotel and took some more pictures while meeting up with some friends. Finally, we went up to our room to cool off and change up into lighter cosplays. There were plenty of cosplayers on Saturday and for whatever reson, there were several furry related costumers as well.  How they can survive in those hot costumes still boggles our minds

And plenty more at the dealer's hall.

The Pokemon gathering also took place on Saturday afternoon. After seeing the crowd at the Pokemon gathering from inside the convention center, it looked really chaotic. Word got around that the Pokemon gathering was larger than the Naruto gathering.
