K_Valentine's Flying Ani-Magic 2004 Report

My third time attending Ani-Magic. But unlike other times, this year I flew to Ani-Magic because it was simply easier and cheaper than driving. Most of the report was typed up while inside the airplane. Hence the appropriateness of adding "Flying" to the title and having no other relation to a certain Flying Circus in Britain involving silly walks or dead parrots.

So the lone member of Cheap As Heck Cosplay and other half of Traveling Valentine treks over to his final so-Cal convention of the year. In doing so, the following questions came to mind:

• How is he going to fly back home?
• What pitfalls and hurdles would he expect?
• Who is the stalker that he has heard about who must be punted?
• Where will he and fellow cosplayers find a cheap place to eat at Valencia?
• When is Tom going to try something besides a Pina Colada?
• Why am I typing in third person?

These questions may or may not be answered. But in the mean time, here's what I recall from this year's Autumn Dream.
